Since 2002, MusicWorks has provided music therapy services to restore, improve and maintain the quality of life of all individuals challenged by autism, special needs, illness or aging. The Power of Music is a resilient tool that helps our Board Certified Music Therapists open client's mind, prompts them to speak, teaches them how to work together, learn basic life skills, and shows them how to have FUN! MusicWorks has served children through adults of all ages from 1 to 99. We are here for our clients and their families.
We are privileged to touch the lies of over 750 children, young adults and seniors per week in many therapeutic settings. We have established two treatment centers in Havertown, Delaware Country and Hartboro, Montgomery County providing small group music therapy sessions. We serve seniors in home, adult daycare an assisted living, rehabilitation, and senior center settings. We provide services to young adults to seniors in group homes through Elwyn, CADES, LifePath, Horizon House and KenCrest.
In 2006, MusicWorks began conducting school-based group sessions on campus in response to the great demand for music therapy in school programs. MusicWorks is also the first music therapy service provided in the country to be credentialed by Magellan Behavioral Health.
Through your support and donations, MusicWorks will continue to be a premier music therapy service provider in the Delaware Valley. Please help us help the kids, both young and old. You can make a difference in the lives of many in need.
Thank you.
